Technical Lead, Software Test Automation

Role Overview: As a Software QA Engineer at KLA, you will join a world-class software team to plan, manage, execute, and report results for all qualification activities. You will play a crucial role in ensuring the quality of all released products by being a strong process advocate with an acute attention to detail. Your ability to partner with other functional teams and resolve quality issues quickly will be key to your success in this role. Key Responsibilities: - Qualification of new and existing products and features including functional/requirements based, regression, performance, and reliability testing. This involves designing and qualifying, publishing results and recommendations in the form of training material and best-known methods. - Ability to understand and develop test cases in new technologies such as Deep Learning and machine learning. - Technical interaction with various teams including Algorithms, System Engineering, Application Engineering, Marketing, Manufacturing, and Customer Support across the globe. - Assess automation feasibility of test cases and script the test cases for automatic execution. - Participate in all stages of software development, including deployment and troubleshooting at customer sites. Represent the SQE team in product lifecycle and key program meetings. - Travel to customer fabrication facilities to understand customer use cases, deploy software, and troubleshoot. Qualifications Required: - Must have a Master's Level Degree in Computer Science or related fields. - Excellent communication, analytical, and interpersonal skills are a must. Must also be self-driven while being a strong team player. - Background in IC processing/Semiconductor equipment is a plus. - Hands-on experience with automation tools is advantageous. - Must be willing to travel and enjoy working in diverse cultures.
