Technical Lead

Role & responsibilities

Location : Baner Pune

Mode of Work : Hybrid 3 days

You will make an impact in the following ways:

• Define the infrastructure and the software architecture for the Java Backend system related to a specific set of products and projects
• Act as a lead and a mentor to offshore teams, including code review, best practices, architecting, product thinking, and code quality
• Develop platform software and collaborate across engineering groups to maximize the use of common emerging platform technologies, conventions and technological building blocks
• Collaborate with Product Management, Architects and Product Owners from various teams and Executive leaders to define the business and technical strategy
• Collaborate with global engineering leads at various Belden businesses to establish and drive adoption of conventions and innovation

What you will bring:

• Education

  : Bachelor or higher degree in a related technical field (Electrical, Electronics Engineering/Computer Engineering)

Preferred candidate profile

• Required Skills

  :
• 8+ Years in platform software development
• 5+ years in architecture, design, implementation, and/or support of highly distributed service-oriented architectures, having an architectural sense for ensuring availability, reliability, scalability and security
• Strong understanding of and experience with implementing secure authentication and authorization mechanisms using OpenID Connect
• Knowledge about Kubernetes, Docker, or Rancher for microservices deployment
• Knowledge about using IaC using Ansible or Terraform
• Experience building CI/CD pipelines. Devops and Devsecops, version control and system testing with Gitlab and Jenkins
• Experience getting actionable insights from Datadog, ElasticSerach, Prometheus, and Grafana
• Experience implementing systems tracking with Jaeger and Opentracing
• Familiarity with protocol level tracing with Wireshark
• Production experience with distributed data store using zookeeper, Cassandra, postgres, kafka, redis, and ElasticSearch
• Experienced with programming languages such as Java, Python or Go
• Familiar with cloud platforms such as GCP, AWS, or Azure
• 2+ years building public APIs and ability to design and implement RESTful APIs
• Willingness to learn and teach complex technologies
