Technical Lead - ERP (Frappe / ERPNext)

We are looking for a highly skilled Technical Lead - ERP (Frappe/ERPNext) to take charge of the development of our ERPNext system. In this role, you will be involved in hands-on coding, providing technical leadership, guiding a small in-house team, and collaborating with an external development partner. Your responsibilities will include overcoming obstacles, upholding coding standards, and keeping management informed about project progress. You will be responsible for leading the design and development of custom features and modules on ERPNext using the Frappe Framework. Additionally, you will manage and mentor a diverse internal team, ensuring seamless coordination with our external development partner. Troubleshooting and resolving complex technical issues in ERPNext, translating business requirements into technical deliverables, and communicating project milestones, blockers, and timelines to management will be part of your key responsibilities. Moreover, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the security, performance, and scalability of the ERP system by conducting code reviews and implementing development best practices. To be successful in this role, you should have at least 6 years of hands-on experience with Frappe and ERPNext development. A strong understanding of Python, JavaScript, and MariaDB/MySQL is essential. Proficiency in REST APIs, version control (Git), and CI/CD is required. Previous experience in leading or mentoring a technical team, excellent communication skills, and the ability to convey technical updates to non-technical stakeholders are also crucial. Experience in coordinating with outsourced teams would be an advantage.
