As a strategic voice of the customer, you will be responsible for defining and driving the product vision and roadmap for cutting-edge Android-based In-Vehicle Infotainment (IVI) systems. By collaborating with key Japanese automotive OEMs, you will play a crucial role in understanding their unique needs and translating them into successful software solutions. **Key Responsibilities:** - Customer Collaboration and Project Delivery - Engage in customer-facing interactions with Japanese automotive OEMs, necessitating frequent travel to Japan. - Deeply comprehend the Japanese automotive market and the distinctive requirements of OEMs. - Establish and cultivate enduring relationships with key decision-makers at OEMs. - Conduct regular customer visits, workshops, and presentations to gather requirements and present roadmaps. - Define and prioritize product features based on business value, technical feasibility, and customer impact. - Quality Management for Project Delivery - Lead meetings to clarify requirements and ensure adherence to quality targets. - Facilitate design review meetings with customers and drive defect resolution. - Track and report key quality metrics to ensure releases meet standards. - Ensure adherence to software processes, procedures, and tool usage. - Stakeholder Management & Collaboration - Build and maintain strong relationships with customers, partners, and internal stakeholders. - Act as the primary point of contact for product-related inquiries and communications. - Liaise between software and non-software teams to resolve inter-disciplinary dependencies. **Qualifications Required:** - Proven experience working directly with Japanese automotive OEMs and ability to travel frequently within Japan. - Bachelor's degree in Engineering. - Around 10 years of experience in automotive embedded software development, particularly within In-Vehicle Infotainment (IVI) systems. - Expertise in Android development within an automotive context. - Proficiency in programming languages commonly used in embedded systems and experience with Real-Time Operating Systems. - Strong knowledge of the software development lifecycle, Agile methodologies, and related tools. - Minimum of 5 years of experience in product management, software delivery management, or product owner roles. - Exceptional communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills.
