Technical Data Project Manager

As a Technical Data Project Manager at Coforge, you will be responsible for owning the full lifecycle of data platform, analytics, and AI/ML projects. Your key responsibilities will include: - Developing and maintaining project plans, timelines, and roadmaps for data ingestion, transformation, governance, and reporting. - Leading cross-functional teams comprising data engineers, architects, BI analysts, and business stakeholders. - Translating business requirements into technical specifications and actionable user stories. - Overseeing the development of data pipelines, ETL workflows, and Snowflake-based data warehousing solutions. - Ensuring integration of data quality, lineage, security, and compliance throughout the project lifecycle. - Facilitating agile ceremonies such as sprint planning, backlog grooming, demos, and retrospectives. - Acting as the primary point of contact for stakeholders, providing regular updates and managing risks/issues. - Collaborating with governance and security teams to ensure regulatory compliance. - Monitoring performance of deployed solutions and driving continuous improvement. - Supporting user training, adoption, and feedback loops for BI and analytics tools. Qualifications required for this role include hands-on experience in Informatica, ETL tools, Snowflake, SQL, and cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP). Additionally, a strong grasp of Agile, Scrum, and traditional PM methodologies with PMP, CSM, or SAFe certification is preferred. You should also possess a proven ability to lead cross-functional teams and manage large-scale data projects, along with excellent stakeholder management skills and the ability to translate technical concepts for non-technical audiences.
