You will be joining *** eCOA's award-winning team as a Back-End Engineer to contribute to revolutionizing the clinical trial space and making a significant impact on healthcare. Your key responsibilities will include collaborating efficiently across functional teams, ensuring engineering quality through code reviews and unit tests, extending the platform's features, designing and implementing APIs, automating engineering processes, and addressing system performance issues promptly. Additionally, you will be involved in refactoring legacy code, providing technical guidance to peers, and working closely with Quality Assurance and DevOps teams to resolve system challenges. To excel in this role, you must possess expertise in JavaScript/TypeScript, Node, and Express.js, along with experience in working with databases like Postgres and DynamoDB. Familiarity with cloud-based infrastructure (AWS, Google Cloud, Azure) and system monitoring services (DataDog, Sentry.io, CloudWatch) will be advantageous. Your ability to work independently and remotely with minimal supervision, coupled with a keen eye for detail, will be crucial for success in this position.
