Technical Assistant (ISL Interpretation)

As a Technical Assistant for the AI for Digital Inclusion Project at SSN College of Engineering, you will be responsible for English to Indian Sign Language (ISL) translation, validation of AI-generated avatar-based ISL interpretations, and real-time ISL interpretation of phrases and sentences. The project aims to promote the digital inclusion of Deaf Individuals through innovative technologies. The position of Technical Assistant (TA) is a full-time role with a project duration of 3 years. You will be offered a fellowship of 15,000 per month and will be based at the SSN College of Engineering in Kalavakkam, Tamil Nadu. To be eligible for this role, you must have a First Class in Special Education for Deaf and Hard of Hearing. Demonstrated experience in ISL interpretation is essential for this position.
