Technical Architect (Kubernetes Cloud Architect)

Role Overview: You will be joining a Boston-based seed-funded startup, Avesha, focused on developing a scalable smart application framework platform. As a Technical Architect, you will play a crucial role in driving the design details of Avesha's smart application framework platform services and solutions. Your responsibilities will include providing technical leadership support to multiple development teams and coordinating system architecture direction across product management and development teams. Key Responsibilities: - Define and develop solutions, system/software architecture, and detailed designs through reference models, frameworks, and use cases that describe the end-to-end system behavior and solution impact. - Drive innovative solutions and new technologies into product strategy. - Collaborate with ML teams to define and develop network policy algorithms for distributed network systems. - Provide technical leadership support to development teams for defining and developing overlay network services detailed designs. - Assist in defining and developing cloud services detailed designs. - Work with the product management team to understand use-cases, requirements, and develop technical solutions. - Document system/software architecture and high-level designs. - Collaborate effectively with other team members and stakeholders. Qualifications Required: - Bachelor's degree in Computer Science/Computer Engineering or equivalent; MS/M.Tech preferred - Minimum 3+ years of experience as a technical architect or system/software architect - Minimum 7+ years of experience as a software development engineer and tech lead - Demonstrated experience in driving system architecture development across cross-functional teams - Hands-on proficiency in Kubernetes, Kubernetes operators, and containers for at least 2+ years - Experience with Helm charts, API gateways, ingress/egress gateways, and service meshes (ISTIO, etc.) - Understanding of Kubernetes Deployment strategies - Knowledge of Kubernetes environments and cluster management - Experience with CI/CD tools & concepts - Experience with code tools like Ansible & Terraform - Proficiency in GoLang and Python is a plus - Experience with cloud computing platforms such as AWS, Azure, GCP, etc. - Experience with DevOps development, exposure to DevOps tools, CI/CD pipeline, and automation - Excellent written and verbal/presentation communication skills - Ability to work effectively with a distributed team - Outstanding problem-solving and analytical skills with attention to detail,
