Job Description

Key responsibilities Coaching and improvemento Identify delivery bottlenecks and inefficiencies in the API development lifecycle o Coach developers on industry standard best practices for API design, testing, and deployment o Introduce tooling, patterns, and accelerators (e g , code templates, automation scripts, API governance practices) Requirement gathering Designo Collect and translate business requirements into clear detailed designso Design robust, scalable, and reusable APIs and integration patterns (e g , REST, GraphQL, event driven architecture) Hands On Leadershipo Contribute to code reviews quality, proofs of concept, and development where necessaryo Provide deep technical mentorship to uplift the teams capabilities Quality Governanceo Promote API versioning, documentation standards (e g , OpenAPI/Swagger), and security practices (OAuth, rate limiting, etc ) o Help establish or improve automated quality gates, testing, and CI/CD workflows for APIs Requirements: Excellent leadership, communication, and coaching skills Proven experience (10+ years) in API development, especially in enterprise integration contexts involving SAP eCommerce (like Adobe Commerce Cloud) platforms
