Tech Lead, Software Development Engineering (Java Developer)

As a Tech Lead, Software Development Engineering (Java Developer) at Fiserv, you will be a part of the FDPOS Team, contributing to the development of Java backend applications. Key Responsibilities: - Application Development in Java, Spring, Spring Boot, PL/SQL on the Linux platform - Construct reactive UI-based applications using Angular - Develop high-performance, low-latency enterprise-grade APIs for real-time data processing, impacting revenue generation streams directly - Actively participate in agile (Scrum) deployment team activities - Collaborate with business and technical Subject Matter Experts (SMEs) to analyze data, solve business problems, and present key findings - Engage in Production Support activities during incidents and outages - Enhance infrastructure for easy deployment, scalability, security, and fault tolerance - Contribute to capacity planning, system stability, provisioning, performance tuning, and scaling of the application infrastructure Qualifications Required: - Bachelor's degree or equivalent with a minimum of 10 years of relevant work experience - Proficient in Java, Spring, Spring Boot, SQL on the Linux platform - Hands-on experience with JPA, Hibernate, Spring Data - Familiarity with HTML, CSS - Knowledge of Git-based workflow, repositories like Gitlab/BitBucket, OpenAPI 2/3 specifications, and secure application development tools like Fortify/Sonar - Strong technical background in Linux Desirable Skills: - Basic understanding of Typescript & Angular - Experience with Cloud platforms like AWS and cloud migration - Exposure to Agile development, Continuous Integration/Continuous Delivery (Gitlab/Harness deployments), and collaboration platforms such as JIRA, Confluence Thank you for considering employment with Fiserv.
