Tech Lead, Data Architecture

As a Tech Lead, Data Architecture at Fiserv, you will be responsible for designing and implementing robust and efficient data architectures using Snowflake. With 8-12 years of experience in data modeling, you will play a key role in ensuring our data systems meet the evolving needs of the organization. Key Responsibilities: - Develop, optimize, and oversee conceptual and logical data systems to meet current and future business requirements. - Create and maintain data models using Snowflake to ensure data integrity, performance, and security. - Design and implement end-to-end data solutions, including data ingestion, transformation, storage, and access. - Collaborate with stakeholders to understand data requirements and translate them into technical specifications. - Monitor and improve data system performance, addressing scalability, efficiency, and data quality issues. - Ensure data architectures comply with governance policies, standards, and regulations. - Stay updated on emerging data technologies and assess their potential impact on the organization. - Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior data architects and engineers. Qualifications Required: - 8-12 years of experience in data architecture and data modeling with proficiency in Snowflake. - Strong understanding of data modeling concepts, ETL/ELT processes, data governance, and data security best practices. - Knowledge of SQL and experience with performance tuning for large-scale data systems. - Familiarity with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or GCP and related data services. - Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills, along with strong communication and interpersonal abilities. - Demonstrated leadership skills in guiding and mentoring technical teams. In addition, it would be nice to have: - Education: Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field. - Certifications: Snowflake certifications or other relevant industry certifications.
