As an Azure Policy Development Tech Lead within our Infrastructure & Cloud team, you will play a critical role in managing and implementing policies related to infrastructure, security, and compliance. Your responsibilities will include leading the creation and maintenance of Azure policy frameworks to ensure alignment with industry standards and best practices. By leveraging your expertise, you will drive the adoption of compliant and secure cloud infrastructure solutions, empowering developers within LSEG to achieve friction-free cloud deployments. This role presents a unique opportunity to influence cloud policy development and governance, thereby ensuring the delivery of robust, secure, and scalable cloud solutions. You will be responsible for managing and leading a team of associates to ensure the successful delivery of projects. As a tech advocate for the development team, you will play a key role in delivering features and utilizing Infrastructure As Code (IAC) tools like Terraform to build and manage cloud resources. Additionally, you will implement policies related to infrastructure, security, and compliance using the Azure policy framework and OPA. Your passion for staying abreast of tech trends and experimenting with new technologies will be instrumental in driving innovation within the team. Collaboration with product owners and architecture will be essential to deliver robust cloud-based solutions that enhance user experiences. Your experience with GitLab repositories, configuring CI/CD for Terraform deployments, and familiarity with Cloud Native technologies on major cloud services providers, particularly Azure, will be valuable assets in this role. Proficiency in declarative policy language, architectural flexibility, and agile methodologies will further contribute to your success. To qualify for this role, you must possess a degree in Computer Science Engineering or equivalent work experience. A minimum of 5 years of hands-on experience across cloud services SDLC tools, specifically CI/CD tools, along with 2+ years of experience leading enterprise/platform engineering teams and DevOps automation, is required. Additionally, 2+ years of experience using build and deployment tools such as Jenkins and Docker, as well as familiarity with open policy agent or any cloud policy framework, will be advantageous.
