Role Description

Purpose of the Role

1. Design of reliable Electrical/ Embedded hardware system for the requirements received from application team

2. Preparation of electrical panel, schematic, cable kit, BOM, PCB

Responsibilities & Accountabilities

Understanding cost drivers associated with systems
Fulfillment of the requirements with user-friendliness
Identify opportunities for optimizing hardware design focusing on improving performance, power efficiency and manufacturability
Ensure hardware components meeting long term durability and performance
Ensure the design with appropriate regulatory norms (IEC, IPC etc.,)
Simulate and prototype electrical circuits, PCB and hardware system for the requirements
Troubleshoot hardware issues, analyse test data and optimise design based on testing output
Conduct research to address emerging technological needs or customer requirement
Update the requirements received from application team with actuals
Adherence to business excellence initatives
