TEAM LEAD/SR. SYSTEM VERIFICATIONS ENGINEER

As a Team Lead/Senior System Verifications Engineer at Airspan in Bangalore, India, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the quality of our groundbreaking software and hardware solutions for 5G networks and Open RAN interoperability with other vendors. With a focus on delivering top-notch solutions to Tier 1 mobile network operators worldwide, Airspan is at the forefront of revolutionizing the telecommunications industry. Your main responsibilities will include creating high-quality test plans based on functional requirements, executing test cases with a deep understanding of customer-based deployments, and identifying and reporting defects effectively. You will also be required to debug and reproduce customer issues in the testing lab, utilizing your knowledge of 4G/5G wireless technologies and NMS/EMS deployments. To excel in this role, you should possess expertise in requirements, test, and defect management tools such as JIRA and Confluence, as well as familiarity with scripting and automation suites like Robot and Selenium. A solid understanding of testing life cycles, including both waterfall and Agile methodologies, is essential for success in this position. Key responsibilities will involve preparing and reviewing test plans with key stakeholders, executing tests, providing status updates and reports regularly, and collaborating with project managers and architects to ensure comprehensive functional testing. You will also be responsible for conducting end-to-end testing of Airspan NMS products and actively participating in defect discussions and triage processes. The ideal candidate will hold a degree in Computer Science, Electronics and Communication Engineering, or MCA from a reputable institution, along with a minimum of 12-15 years of relevant experience in NMS/EMS application testing within the wireless telecom domain. Proficiency in scripting, Python programming, writing SQL queries, and using tools like JIRA are key requirements for this role. As a person, you should be capable of working both independently and as part of a team, handling multiple assignments simultaneously.
