Job Description

Role Overview: As a Team Leader at Equiniti India - Operations, your main responsibility will be to lead a team efficiently to provide high-quality service to customers while ensuring adherence to agreed standards. You will be required to oversee and support the work of your colleagues, contribute to departmental planning, and coordinate resources effectively to ensure daily workloads are completed in a timely manner. Key Responsibilities: - Organise, plan, control, and monitor workflow to ensure daily workload completion in line with service standards. - Monitor team performance, recommend operational changes, and implement improvements to enhance service quality and process efficiency. - Facilitate the development of individual team members through cross-training and ensuring adequate knowledge and resources for coverage. - Collaborate with the US operational team to align communication and operations effectively. - Identify trends in problem occurrence and workflow, investigate root causes, implement necessary changes, and coordinate support from other parties to prevent re-occurrences. - Monitor team compliance with internal policies, procedures, external regulations, and data security protocols, reporting non-conformances as required. - Uphold quality and information security policies, along with all aspects of the Integrated Management System within the operational unit. - Support team deliverables by performing various roles and tasks as needed. - Continuously enhance personal skills and technical knowledge to adapt to evolving business environments. Qualifications Required: - Excellent English oral and written communication skills, capable of explaining information clearly and concisely to individuals or groups. - Proficient in self and work organization, utilizing time management techniques to plan, manage, and prioritize work effectively. - Skilled in performance review and development, objectively assessing capabilities and giving constructive feedback to identify development needs. - Experienced in change management, effectively communicating changes, planning implementations, and minimizing service disruptions. - Demonstrated organizational awareness, understanding the company's aims, policies, culture, and operational strategies. - Knowledgeable in environmental awareness, understanding the business environment, industry best practices, and potential impacts of economic, political, and social changes on the business.
