Team Leader (Project Manager)

The ideal candidate for this position should be a Graduate in Civil Engineering with a Masters Degree or Post Graduate Diploma (PGD) in a relevant field. With a minimum of twenty (20) years of professional experience, out of which at least ten (10) years should be in the Ports and IWT (Inland Waterways Transport) sector, the ideal candidate should have a proven track record in project management consultancy services within the Ports/IWT sector as a Project Manager or Project Director. As a key member of the team, you will be responsible for leading, coordinating, and supervising the Consultants team to ensure the timely delivery of services. Providing clear directions to the Consultants team is essential to ensure that all projects are completed according to the Clients"/Banks" requirements. Your role will involve the overall management of the project, including monitoring, reporting, and coordination to ensure that the project development aligns with the set standards. You will also be required to assist the client in obtaining the necessary administrative and financial approvals from the competent authority. In addition, you will be responsible for preparing proposals for internal approvals, Agenda Notes for consideration by the IWAI Board, Standing Finance Committee Memorandum, Expenditure Finance Committee (EFC)/Public Investment Board (PIB) Memorandum, Note for the Cabinet Committee on Economic Affairs (CCEA), among other tasks. Overall administration of the contracts and monitoring will also fall under your purview, ensuring successful project implementation.,
