At Secure Meters, we believe clarity builds confidence. Were seeking a Team Lead User Documentation to lead a talented team of Technical Writers and Visual Designers who craft user documentation, graphics, and 3D videos that bring our products to life.

Key responsibilities:

As the Team Lead User Documentation, you will:

• Lead the planning, creation, and delivery of high-quality, user-focused content.
• Define and execute the documentation vision and strategy, ensuring usability, accuracy, and consistency across all deliverables.
• Oversee the planning and management of documentation projects from initiation to completion, ensuring alignment with project timelines, scope and goals.
• Work closely with product, engineering, and marketing teams to ensure our content helps users understand and get the best from our solutions.
• Mentor and develop team members to achieve excellence.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to align documentation with product and business objectives.
• Drive continuous improvement in tools, processes, and visual communication standards.

Minimum Qualifications :

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Communications, English, or a related field.
• 7–9 years of experience in product and software documentation.
• A strategic mindset and experience with managing documentation projects.
• Excellent writing, editing, formatting, and proofreading skills with attention to detail and consistency.
• Experience in using AI tools and leveraging AI in work processes and decision-making
• Familiarity with automating documentation workflows and analysing AI-driven insights is desirable.
• Strong working knowledge of DITA, XML, or other Markup languages (e.g., HTML).
• Working knowledge of Content Management systems (CMS) such as GitHub/Bitbucket.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite and Adobe Acrobat.
• Experience with visual documentation using Adobe Illustrator, Microsoft Visio, or similar tools (Desirable).
• Ability to simplify technical concepts using both words and visuals.
• Ability to work independently in a fast-paced, collaborative, and agile environment.
