Team Lead Frontend Development

As a Frontend Development Team Lead, your primary responsibility will be to provide technical leadership, mentorship, and guidance to the frontend development team. It will be crucial to ensure that the team adheres to best coding practices and project timelines. You will play a key role in designing, developing, and maintaining user-friendly, high-performance websites, and web applications using technologies such as React.js, Vue.js, and Laravel for frontend integration. In addition to technical leadership, you will oversee and develop projects in CMS platforms like WordPress, Magento, and Shopify, ensuring customization and optimization based on client requirements. Collaboration with backend teams, designers, project managers, and QA personnel will be essential to deliver seamless user experiences. Your tasks will also include performing code reviews, ensuring compliance with coding standards, and optimizing frontend performance. It will be important to stay updated on emerging frontend technologies, frameworks, and tools to keep the development stack current and competitive. Participation in project management activities such as sprint planning, resource allocation, and progress tracking will be necessary to ensure timely project delivery. To excel in this role, you should have proven expertise in WordPress, Magento, and Shopify development and customization. Strong knowledge of React.js, Vue.js, Laravel, HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript, and responsive design principles is required. Familiarity with frontend build tools like Webpack, Gulp, and npm, as well as experience in RESTful API integration and working with backend teams, will be beneficial. A solid understanding of cross-browser compatibility, performance optimization, and SEO best practices is essential. Hands-on experience with Git version control, collaborative workflows, and problem-solving skills are also key requirements. Excellent communication and team leadership abilities are vital for effective collaboration with cross-functional teams. Preferred qualifications for this role include experience with headless CMS and decoupled architectures, knowledge of Progressive Web Apps (PWAs), familiarity with Agile/Scrum methodologies, and prior experience managing multi-project deliveries in a fast-paced environment.
