Team Lead for highway construction

Role Overview: As a Functional Skill engineer, you will be responsible for planning, reviewing, designing, and certifying drawings for roadways, streets, and drainage. You will also conduct field inspections of projects, engineering plans, reports, specifications, and contract documents. Additionally, you will manage various aspects of design projects and engineering programs, including preparing cost estimates, construction plans, contract documents, material specifications, and acquisition of right of way and easements. Key Responsibilities: - Supervise assigned site managers, prioritize and assign tasks and projects across teams, monitor work, evaluate performance, and ensure staff adherence to policies and procedures in compliance with local, state, and federal regulations. - Possess extensive knowledge of market research, effective tendering, quantity survey, rate analysis, and bill of quantity. - Demonstrate expertise in the principles and practices of civil engineering and surveying, modern methods and techniques in design, project management, and administrative management. - Conduct quantity survey, rate analysis, and bill of quantity for projects. Qualifications Required: - Must have a strong understanding of civil engineering and surveying principles. - Proficiency in project management principles and practices. - Familiarity with pertinent City, state, and federal policies, procedures, standards, codes, and ordinances. - Experience in effective employee supervision. - Previous experience in quantity survey, rate analysis, and bill of quantity is preferred.
