Team Lead Engineering - Java

As a Java Lead Engineering at iO Associates, you will be responsible for guiding a Scrum team of 15-18 engineers in developing scalable, cloud-native applications. Your key responsibilities will include: - Leading and mentoring a high-performing Agile team in developing enterprise-grade applications. - Designing and building scalable, cloud-based solutions using Java, Spring Boot, and AWS. - Driving software quality and best practices such as OOP, SOLID principles, and design patterns. - Championing modern cloud architectures and microservices. To qualify for this role, you must have: - 5+ years of hands-on Java experience with expertise in Spring Boot, AWS, and Kubernetes. - Mandatory experience in the travel industry. - A strong understanding of OOP, SOLID principles, and design patterns. - Proven experience in leading Agile teams of 8+ engineers. - Expertise in event-driven architectures, RESTful APIs, and microservices.
