Job Description

Designation: BIM MEP Lead

Job Description Roles Responsibilities:

1. Experience in leading an interdisciplinary team of MEPF Modelers Coordinators handling multiple projects

2. Collaborate with senior staff to assist in defining deliverables schedules

3. Generation implementation of the BEP (BIM Execution Plan), which includes but is not limited to the following:

a. Setting up a standard BIM Process

b. Defining working procedures for BIM implementation

c. BIM Standardization, implementation of BIM Process related BIM Solutions,

d. Setting up of the CDE (Common Data Environment) platform like ACC/ BIM 360 (if applicable)

e. Defining responsibilities of all the project stakeholders

f. Revit Template Project Set-up

4. Having strong experience in Revit parametric family creation

5. Assists in the development maintenance of MEP content libraries

6. Experience in the implementation of COBie

7. Coordinate assist BIM team in modelling simulation of projects based on existing drawings

8. Assist both internal external team members in the development of construction documents as-built document creation maintenance

9. Work side by side with teams in-house external teams to complete BIM project deliverables

10. Should have prior experience in co-ordinating with other disciplines for their deliverables associated with a Structural/Architectural layout, including aspects related to BIM Modelling Content Approaches, Model Exchanges, Quality Control, On-time Delivery

11. Checking Extracting Material/ Quantity Take off Schedule from Revit to prepare BOQ.

12. Extract 2D (CAD PDF) from Revit which includes floor plan, sections, spot sections etc.

13. Clash Coordination of the 3D BIM model using Autodesk Revit Navisworks

14. Running the Clash Test in Navisworks or Interference check in Revit.

15. Generating the Clash Log sharing it with all the concerned Design Consultants

16. Discussing suggesting solutions for the observed clashes with the Design Consultants

17. Re-Checking the updated model for any clashes.

18. Assuring Submitting a Clash Free model

19. Documenting all the clashes resolutions along with the final signoff.

20. Review the design changes which happen during construction make sure that all the changes are captured in the BIM model. This also includes the clash coordination process for the updated model as well.

Educational Qualification B.E/B.Tech, ME/M.Tech (+Courses as an Added Advantage)

Location Mumbai (Powai)
