As an Accounting Associate at Observe.AI, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the financial stability and compliance of the organization. Your responsibilities will include processing employee expense reimbursements accurately and in a timely manner, in accordance with company policies and expense guidelines. Additionally, you will assist in budgeting, cash forecasting, and reporting for month-end and year-end closing activities. You will be responsible for preparing and posting monthly accruals and provisions, prepaid amortisation, and conducting month-end closure activities. Monthly reconciliation and preparation of accounting ledgers will also be a part of your role. Furthermore, you will be expected to prepare and share a monthly Management Information System (MIS) report, as well as handle TDS workings and file quarterly TDS returns. To excel in this role, you should have a strong understanding of accounting principles and practices, along with the ability to analyze financial data and interpret reports effectively. Proficiency in English, coupled with excellent communication and interpersonal skills, will be essential for building strong relationships remotely.
