Job Title: - Custom Clearance Executive-Transport and Forwarding Location: - CBD Belapur , Navi Mumbai Role Description:- We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Custom Clearance Executive to handle all customs documentation and ensure timely clearance of import/export shipments. The ideal candidate will have in-depth knowledge of customs regulations, HS codes, and import-export procedures. Key Responsibilities: · Handle end-to-end customs clearance processes for import/export shipments. · Prepare, verify, and process all customs documentation such as Bills of Entry, Shipping Bills, Invoice, Packing List, etc. · Coordinate with freight forwarders, transporters, CHA (Custom House Agents), shipping lines, and government authorities. · Track and monitor shipments to ensure timely clearance and delivery. · Ensure proper classification of goods under the correct HS code. · Calculate and arrange payment of applicable customs duties and taxes. · Maintain updated knowledge of customs laws, policies, and procedures. · Resolve queries or discrepancies related to customs inspections or document mismatches. · Ensure compliance with all statutory and regulatory requirements related to customs and foreign trade. · Maintain organized records and reports for audits and internal reviews. Requirements: 1. Education: Bachelor’s degree in Logistics, International Trade, Business, or a related field. 2. Experience: 1–4 years of experience in customs clearance or import/export operations. You will be responsible for overseeing and managing our large-scale logistics operations with a focus on container transportation. Your main duties will include efficiently managing export and import container movements, overseeing the hiring of market vehicles and negotiating costs, as well as possessing a strong knowledge of routes, rates, vehicle types, and cargo handling. In this role, you will be required to coordinate with internal teams, customers, and vendors to ensure smooth operations. Handling over 3,000 trips per month using both your own fleet and the market fleet, you will need to ensure timely placement, tracking, and unloading of vehicles, while also monitoring cost efficiency and service quality. Additionally, you will be responsible for preparing and presenting operational MIS reports to management, as well as ensuring compliance with transport regulations and safety norms.
