Job Description

Prepare, review, and submit accurate tax returns including income tax, sales tax, payroll tax, and other applicable taxes
Ensure timely and compliant tax filings in line with statutory deadlines
Analyze financial data and business operations to create effective tax planning strategies
Identify legal tax-saving opportunities and assess associated risks
Conduct research on current tax laws, regulations, and rulings to ensure accurate interpretation and application
Represent the organization or clients during tax audits and assessments by preparing and submitting relevant documentation
Maintain organized and up-to-date tax records and documentation as per regulatory requirements
Collaborate with finance, accounting, legal, and other internal teams to ensure accurate and complete tax reporting
Perform periodic internal tax compliance reviews and recommend corrective actions where necessary
Manage tax matters related to cross-border transactions, including transfer pricing and double taxation agreements
Support the development of tax-efficient strategies aligned with business goals
Communicate with clients regarding tax advice, updates, and legal changes impacting their business
