About the Role
As a Tax Expert, you will be responsible for ensuring the accuracy, compliance, and overall functionality of Clear's Income Tax Return (ITR) product. This role involves testing product updates, validating compliance with current tax laws, supporting customers with complex queries, and collaborating across teams to ensure a seamless user experience.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct thorough testing of the ITR product for compliance with prevailing tax laws and regulations.
  • Validate new rules and updates released by the Income Tax Department.
  • Test new features and enhancements to ensure both functionality and compliance.
  • Provide expert consultation to customers on technical taxation matters.
  • Work closely with the customer support team to troubleshoot and resolve technical issues.

Candidate Profile
Qualifications
  • Semi-qualified CA with completed articleship, or
  • B.Com graduate with experience in Direct Tax from a CA firm.
Domain Expertise
  • Strong understanding of ITR forms, budget amendments, and income tax provisions.
  • Practical experience in filing ITRs, tax audits, and advance tax assignments.
Skills
  • Proficiency in advanced Excel for data analysis, reporting, and automation of tax-related computations.
