Purpose of the Job : To ensure efficient and cost-effective execution of fabrication operations, delivering high-quality output as per customer specifications while adhering to safety, quality, and productivity standards. Job responsibilities - S. No. Overall, Job Responsibility Fabrication Operations: Supervise day-to-day fabrication activities including cutting /bending/ Fit Up / Welding / Finish Grinding. Ensure production targets are met as per plan with minimum downtime. Maintain and monitor fabrication schedules to meet customer delivery timelines. Quality Assurance: Ensure adherence to quality standards (ISO, IATF etc.) at every stage of fabrication. - Knowledge in Welding standards are mandatory. Coordinate with QA team to address internal/external quality complaints and implement corrective actions. People Management : Lead, train, and motivate shop floor teams and contractors for productivity and skill enhancement. Ensure compliance with statutory and safety norms across operations. Maintenance Coordinate with the maintenance team for preventive and breakdown maintenance of fabrication equipment and tools. Process Improvement: Identify opportunities for process improvements and cost reduction initiatives. Implement Lean, 5S, and Kaizen practices on the shop floor. Key Skills & Competencies: Vendors, Contractors, Customers (if applicable) Planning, Quality, SCM, Maintenance, Safety, HR. Knowledge, skills and experience (Minimum level): 610 years in Heavy engineering / manufacturing companies. fabrication operations in a steel fabrication/engineering environment/ Earth moving equipment) Educational qualifications Diploma (Mechanical / Metallurgy /Mining / Production) Relevant experience Preferred Exposure: Heavy Fabrication, Welding techniques, CNC operations, Team handling and from Earth moving equipment manufacturing company.
a. Building capability and managing the Connected Operations Platform (COP) post successful completion. It includes: - i. Code modifications catering to change requests from users (without dependency on the vendor), ii. Implementing new features that could not be covered during initial development, iii. Resolving platform risks, iv. Troubleshooting b. Development of other digital projects like dashboards, portals and visualization projects on Tableau c. Support implementation of customer application d. Development & Maintenance of Python based BOT Program e. Development of custom applications as per business need f. Knowledge of full stack development on cloud environment. g. Knowledge of Python and data analytics and visualization platforms. h. Testing of the system to ensure the effectiveness so as it meets the business requirement i. Create and maintain detailed documentation for related to architecture, configurations, and procedures. j. Share knowledge and best practices with the business users & team k. Collaboration with cross-functional teams, including implementation partners, system administrators, and network engineers. l. Monitor and optimize the performance of cloud-based applications and infrastructure. Role & responsibilities 1.
