Tally Prime Software Developer

As a Tally Prime Software Developer, your primary goal is to develop, customize, and support business solutions within the Tally Prime ecosystem. You will be responsible for ensuring seamless integration with business processes and adherence to accounting standards. Your key responsibilities will include: Customization & Development: - Developing and customizing Tally Prime modules using TDL (Tally Definition Language). - Creating new features, forms, reports, and workflows based on business requirements. - Designing and implementing Tally Add-ons to enhance core functionality. Integration: - Integrating Tally Prime with third-party applications such as ERP, CRM, and e-commerce platforms using Tally's APIs. - Developing and maintaining import/export utilities in various formats like XML, Excel, and JSON. Maintenance & Support: - Troubleshooting and resolving issues in Tally Prime solutions and custom modules. - Providing continuous support to end-users and resolving day-to-day queries. - Optimizing existing TDL code for improved performance and maintainability. Documentation & Testing: - Documenting technical specifications, user manuals, and customization details. - Conducting unit testing and supporting User Acceptance Testing (UAT). - Maintaining version control and deployment logs. Collaboration: - Working closely with accounting, finance, and operations teams to understand business requirements. - Coordinating with QA and project teams for smooth implementation and deployment. Required Skills & Tools: - Proficiency in Tally Definition Language (TDL). - Strong understanding of Tally Prime architecture, features, and business use cases. - Familiarity with accounting principles, GST, TDS, and other statutory requirements in India. - Experience with data integration techniques and basic SQL. - Ability to manage client communication and project timelines.
