Tally Accountant - GST, TDS & Day-to-Day Accounting

We are seeking a detail-oriented and reliable Accountant to join our finance team. The role requires strong knowledge of accounting standards, GST, TDS, and overall compliance requirements. The Accountant will be responsible for managing day-to-day financial operations, preparing reports, and supporting statutory audits to ensure accuracy and compliance with regulatory guidelines.

Roles & Responsibilities

• Maintain accurate books of accounts in compliance with

  Accounting Standards

  .
• Handle day-to-day accounting operations including

  journal entries, accounts payable/receivable, reconciliations, and payroll accounting

  .
• Ensure timely filing and compliance for

  GST, TDS, PF, ESI, Professional Tax, and other statutory obligations

  .
• Prepare and maintain

  quarterly/yearly financial statements

  , MIS reports, and budgets.
• Manage

  bank reconciliations, vendor reconciliations, and inter-company reconciliations

  .
• Support

  internal and statutory audits

  , ensuring documentation and schedules are in order.
• Assist in

  financial & budget planning, variance analysis, and cost control

  initiatives.
• Ensure proper maintenance of invoices, vouchers, and other accounting documents for compliance and internal review.
• Assist in work related to Companies Act, ROC & Board Meetings.
• Liaise with external consultants (CAs, tax advisors, auditors) as required.

Required Candidate Profile

• Strong knowledge of

  Tally ERP systems

  .
• Proficiency in

  MS Excel and financial reporting tools

  .
• Sound understanding of

  Income Tax Act, GST laws and Companies Act compliance

  .
• Strong attention to detail and ability to work under deadlines.
• Good communication skills to interact with management, auditors, and stakeholders.
• Experience in

  budgeting and forecasting

  .
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Problem-solving mindset with an analytical approach.

Education & Experience

• Education:

  B.Com / M.Com / MBA (Finance) / CA-Inter preferred.

• Experience:

  25 years in accounting and compliance roles.

Salary

• 4-6 Lacs P.A.

Working Hours & Location

• 11.00 am to 8.00 pm Mon-Fri
• 11.00 am to 3.30 pm Sat
• Rash Behari Avenue, Gariahat, Kolkata
