CAD Modeling: Utilize CAD software (e.g., SolidWorks, AutoCAD, CATIA, or Siemens NX) to create detailed 2D/3D models, assemblies, and technical drawings of progressive dies. Tooling Optimization: Perform analysis and suggest improvements to tooling designs for better efficiency, cost reduction, and enhanced production throughput. Material Selection: Collaborate with material engineers to select appropriate materials for dies and tools, considering factors like metal type, hardness, and stamping characteristics.
