Role Description We are looking for a talented and enthusiastic Java Frontend Developer to join our Scrum Product Team on a long-term consultancy contract. This role is fully remote, offering the chance to work with a diverse and motivated international team while contributing to the evolution of mission-critical financial market software. As our Java Frontend Developer , you will play a key role in UI architecture, feature development, and performance enhancements , while collaborating across teams to deliver high-quality solutions. Key Responsibilities: Initially, you will: Master the Java/JavaFX Swing UI , its components, and architecture. Ensure continuity of the build, packaging, and delivery processes. Then, you will: Lead two well-defined UI performance enhancement projects . Drive new UI feature requests and handle bug-fixing activities. Contribute to the architectural evolution of our UI and UX. Who you are: Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology , or equivalent technical education. 5+ years of professional experience in Java frontend development, ideally within the finance or ERP industry . Strong problem-solving, multitasking, and communication skills with a logical and pragmatic mindset. Comfortable working in an intercultural, remote environment with fluent English communication skills. Technical Skills: Must Have: JavaFX Java (versions 9–17) Swing Jide NetBeans Platform Maven Nice to Have: JMS JNI Drools FIX Protocol / Fixed Income Market Knowledge Tools & Collaboration: Git Jira Confluence
