Job Description Company is looking for dynamic, customer focused, data driven, result oriented, people and business leader to grow one of the categories. The Business Development Manager, has end-to-end P&L responsibility for his/her categories and will be responsible for defining long-term strategic plans, driving day-to-day operational improvement, building and growing strategic relationships with sellers and external partners, and building a high performing team. The individual must be passionate and obsessed about delivering enhanced, world-class experience for customers in their categories. Roles & Responsibilities Capable of developing acquisition plans by doing thorough research on supply and ensuring alignment with category objectives. Focus on understanding needs, pain points, behaviours, and preferences of customers in allocated category, and inventing new delightful experiences on their behalf. Deep dive, analyze and reflect on customer behaviour data, diligently read daily customer feedback, ratings and defect rates. Capable of coaching team members on a structured approach to solving problems, choosing the optimal/best solution, and solving the same in alignment with different stakeholders. Instrumental in creating a category-specific framework to connect with external partners, and ability to align with internal stakeholders to drive and manage the partnership end-to-end. He/she will be responsible for monitoring and reporting on the performance and growth of Acquisition KPIs on a weekly and monthly basis with all stakeholders. He/she will also review growth plans, progress and any changes in strategic direction with senior leadership at a regular interval. Capable of building business relationship with team members and of communicating organizational goals & vision with them. Co-creating success playbook for new partners on the platform, and able to scale the partners in a structured manner with the help of cross functional teams. Successful candidates in this role must have relentless data driven decision making, excellent business judgment, the ability to plan and prioritize, ability to inspire and lead cross-functional initiatives and teams, exceptional verbal and written communication skills, and strong first principles (common sense). Basic Qualifications Post-Graduation required 7+ years of experience Proficient in Excel and Access, or similar database Proven track record of taking ownership and driving results Proven analytical skills and highly comfortable with numbers Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills, including strong writing and speaking skills Excellent relationship builder with strong positive attitude Ability to both plan and execute Challenge and negotiate with partners where required while maintaining positive relationships Work within a dynamic environment and balance multiple priorities. Capable of excelling in a changing environment. Preferred Qualifications Experience in Category Management space, especially in Auto parts, Automobiles or relevant related field. Experience in Online consumer products industries preferred
