Key responsibilities include: · Establishment of Quality Management System and Standard for company. · Preparation of Quality Management Manual and Set up of Quality Control team for new project · Cooperation for preparation of Tender for our Sub-Contract etc. · Control and the distribution of all the companies quality documentation · Monitor all quality related activities on the project · Verify contractor quality requirements are specified to vendors and contractor documentation submittals. · Review quality inspection personnel qualifications and training requirements · Monitor the progress and effectiveness of the project quality management system. Recommend and implement improvements when required. · Ensure that the manufacturing processes comply with both local and global production standards · Collaborating with quality personnel for the implementation of systems, procedures, and standards of operation, Performing job tasks instructed by manager. Ensure effective change management procedures are followed. Important Note: As a Japanese organization, we uphold a disciplined approach to work, which includes a clear structure around working hours. We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Japanese Translator to join our team. The ideal candidate will have native or near-native fluency in both Japanese and usually English and a strong understanding of cultural nuances. This role involves translating a variety of materials, ensuring accuracy, consistency, and cultural appropriateness. The Translator will play a crucial role in facilitating communication and understanding between our company and our Japanese-speaking clients/partners/audience. Responsibilities: Translate written materials from Japanese to [Target Language] and vice versa, including (but not limited to): Documents (e.g., technical, legal, marketing, financial) Correspondence Subtitles/Voiceovers Proofread and edit translated materials to ensure accuracy, clarity, and fluency. Maintain consistency in terminology and style across all translated materials. Research and understand the target audience and cultural context to ensure appropriate language and tone. Collaborate with other team members (e.g., project managers, editors, subject matter experts) to ensure project deadlines are met. Stay up-to-date with industry trends and best practices in translation. Manage translation projects and prioritize tasks effectively. Contribute to the development of translation glossaries and style guides. Adapt and localize content for specific cultural contexts. May be required to provide interpretation services (simultaneous or consecutive). (If applicable) Qualifications: Native fluency in both Japanese and English. Excellent written and verbal communication skills in both languages, including the local language Bachelor's degree in Engineering, & Linguistics, Japanese Studies, or a related field preferred. (Or equivalent experience) Proven experience as a Japanese Translator (10) years. Strong understanding of Japanese culture and customs.
