Lead Android/iOS App Developer About the Role We are looking for a Lead Android & iOS App Developer to architect, build, and maintain high-performance, secure, and scalable mobile applications. The ideal candidate should have deep expertise in either Android (Kotlin/Java) or iOS (Swift) development and a solid understanding of modern app architecture , UI frameworks , performance optimization , and security best practices . As a technical lead , you will drive key decisions in mobile architecture, lead the development process, collaborate with cross-functional teams, and mentor other developers to ensure engineering excellence. This role involves hands-on coding, architecture design, and ownership of the mobile delivery lifecycle. Responsibilities • Lead the development of Android (Jetpack Compose/XML) or iOS (SwiftUI/UIKit) applications • Architect scalable, modular, and testable applications using Clean Architecture , MVVM , or MVI • Handle asynchronous operations using Kotlin Coroutines (Android) or async/await, Combine/GCD (iOS) • Implement best practices in memory management , threading , and lifecycle-aware components • Optimize performance using tools like Android Profiler , LeakCanary , or Xcode Instruments • Manage dependencies using Version Catalog (Android) or Cocoapods/Swift Package Manager (iOS) • Apply ProGuard/R8 (Android) or Swift compiler optimizations (iOS) for performance and obfuscation • Lead multi-module project structures and work with nested repositories • Build and manage CI/CD pipelines using GitHub Actions , and establish efficient release processes • Conduct code reviews , uphold code quality standards , and lead architectural discussions • Maintain clear and well-organized technical documentation , including architecture diagrams and integration guides • Mentor developers, facilitate team collaboration, and support product and delivery planning Requirements • 6+ years of hands-on experience in Android (Kotlin/Java) or iOS (Swift) application development • Demonstrated leadership experience in mobile development projects • Proficiency in Jetpack Compose/XML or SwiftUI/UIKit • Strong understanding of modular architecture , asynchronous programming , and performance tuning • Experience with dependency injection frameworks such as Koin (Android) or Swinject (iOS) • Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines , Git-based workflows , and trunk-based development • Experience with application performance monitoring tools such as Firebase Performance , Sentry , or Instabug • Excellent communication and technical documentation skills Nice to Have • Experience across both Android and iOS platforms • Familiarity with enterprise-grade mobile security and compliance requirements • Exposure to design systems , feature flagging , and release management If youre a strong mobile engineer with a passion for leading high-impact teams and delivering robust Android or iOS applications, we’d love to hear from you.
