As an experienced Tableau Developer with 4 to 6 years of experience, your role will focus on creating interactive dashboards, reports, and visualizations using Tableau Desktop and Tableau Server. Your responsibilities will include: - Designing, developing, and maintaining dynamic Tableau dashboards and reports to support decision-making and business insights. - Creating complex visualizations using advanced Tableau features such as multiple parameters, crosstabs, and detailed report functions. - Administering Tableau Server by publishing, sharing, and managing Tableau content and user access. - Leveraging Tableau's interactive features like filters, parameters, and dashboard actions to provide an engaging user experience. - Using Level of Detail (LOD) expressions and other advanced Tableau techniques for building sophisticated calculations and analytics. - Troubleshooting and resolving technical issues, performance bottlenecks, and data discrepancies in Tableau reports. - Optimizing dashboard performance and improving data query efficiency to ensure fast rendering and smooth user experience. - Working with business teams to understand KPIs and business requirements, translating them into effective Tableau solutions. - Providing support in SQL queries for data extraction, integration, and validation when necessary. - Collaborating with other teams on data management tasks, including assisting with ETL processes. Qualifications Required: - 5 years of hands-on experience in Tableau development, including dashboard creation, report authoring, troubleshooting, and data source management. - Strong proficiency in Tableau Desktop, creating and troubleshooting dashboards, managing data sources, and Tableau Server administration. - In-depth experience with advanced Tableau features such as LOD expressions, data blending, joins, filters, and interactive dashboard actions. - Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to troubleshoot data discrepancies, resolve performance issues, and optimize reports in Tableau. - Solid understanding of designing clear, effective, and user-friendly Tableau reports and dashboards. - Experience with SQL for data querying, integration, and validation. - Knowledge of data systems like BI analytics, data warehousing, and data integration. - Experience working in Agile development environments and iterative project cycles. - Excellent written and verbal communication skills. - Tableau certification (Tableau Desktop Specialist or Tableau Certified Professional) is a plus. - Familiarity with performance optimization and query tuning in Tableau. - Experience with data modeling, data integration, and ETL tools is a plus.
