System Test Engineer- Manual

Key Skills:

Roles and Responsibilities:

• Review system requirements and define test strategies, test plans, and traceability for embedded automotive products.
• Develop and execute manual system and system integration test cases covering functional, non-functional, safety, and performance requirements.
• Create and maintain CAPL- and Python-based test scripts and automation scenarios as defined by the test strategy.
• Analyze test results, investigate failures, document defects, and prepare test reports for development and project teams.
• Support validation of hardware-software interactions and maintain testing evidence in alignment with Automotive SPICE and V-Model processes.

Skills Required:

• 4 - 10 years of experience in system testing or system integration testing of automotive embedded products.
• Hands-on experience in manual testing of embedded automotive systems, including black-box and grey-box system testing.
• Strong knowledge of CAPL and Python for developing test scripts, automation scenarios, and test utilities.
• Experience validating automotive embedded software and system behavior across hardware and software interfaces.
• Understanding of automotive communication protocols, system integration testing, defect analysis, and structured test reporting.

Good to Have:

• Experience with CANoe, CAN communication, automotive systems, and embedded software testing.
