Job Title: Principal AI/ML Engineer Location: Baner, Pune (Onsite) Employment Type: Full-Time, Employee Experience Required: 10+ Years Compensation: ₹40 LPA – ₹50 LPA About the Role: We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Principal AI/ML Engineer to join our growing team in Pune. In this senior role, you will drive the design, development, and deployment of cutting-edge AI-powered products and solutions. Key Responsibilities: Design, develop, and deploy machine learning and deep learning models to solve complex business problems and enhance product functionality. Build and deploy personalized Large Language Models (LLMs). Develop document parsing, named entity recognition (NER), Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG), chatbot, and document management systems. Create robust data and ML pipelines to ensure production-scale reliability and performance. Optimize and fine-tune machine learning models for scalability, accuracy, and efficiency (including hyperparameter tuning and model optimization). Write high-quality, production-ready code using frameworks like PyTorch or TensorFlow . Stay abreast of the latest AI/ML research, tools, and methodologies and apply best practices in development. Collaborate closely with stakeholders to understand business requirements and deliver solutions that create tangible business value. Required Qualifications: Bachelor’s or Master’s Degree in Computer Science , Data Science , Computational Linguistics , Natural Language Processing (NLP) , or a related field. 10+ years of hands-on experience in developing and deploying machine learning models and algorithms. Strong experience with AI/ML frameworks such as TensorFlow , PyTorch , and scikit-learn . Proficiency in Python , with additional experience in Java or C++ for AI/ML integration. Experience with spacy , NLTK , knowledge graphs , and advanced NLP techniques. Experience with search and information retrieval , including Elasticsearch and relevance tuning. Hands-on experience fine-tuning models from Hugging Face . Familiarity with Agentic AI frameworks like LangChain , LangGraph , AutoGen , or Crew AI . Experience in building APIs using web frameworks such as FastAPI , Flask , or Django . Solid background in Data Science and MLOps , with experience in containerization ( Docker ) and orchestration ( Kubernetes ) for deployment. Familiarity with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP) and their AI/ML deployment tools. Strong communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work independently and as part of a dynamic team. Preferred / Nice to Have: Experience with open source LLMs, Generative AI (GenAI), ChatGPT integrations. Familiarity with Azure AI Services and Microsoft Copilot .
