Swimming Pool In-charge

Job Summary:

The Swimming Pool In-Charge is responsible for the overall supervision, maintenance, safety, and operation of the swimming pool and its surrounding facilities. This includes ensuring cleanliness, water quality, safety compliance, lifeguard supervision, and excellent customer service to all pool users.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Pool Operations & Maintenance

• Oversee daily pool operations, including opening and closing procedures.
• Monitor and maintain proper water quality (chlorine, pH levels, temperature, and filtration systems).
• Ensure pool equipment (pumps, filters, lighting, etc.) is in good working condition.
• Schedule and coordinate routine maintenance and repairs with technical staff.
• Maintain records of water testing, maintenance activities, and chemical usage.

2. Safety & Compliance

• Enforce all pool safety rules and regulations.
• Supervise lifeguards and ensure proper rotation and alertness during duty.
• Conduct regular safety drills and staff training sessions.
• Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations and local authority requirements.
• Respond promptly to emergencies and provide first aid when necessary.

3. Customer Service

• Greet and assist pool users courteously and professionally.
• Handle student & parents inquiries, complaints, and feedback effectively.
• Promote a positive and safe swimming environment for all users.

4. Administration & Reporting

• Prepare reports on attendance, maintenance, incidents, and chemical usage.
• Manage inventory of pool chemicals and equipment.
• Coordinate with management for budgeting, supplies, and event planning.

Qualifications & Skills:

• Bachelor’s degree or diploma in Physical Education, Sports Management, or related field (preferred).
• Minimum 1–2 years of experience in pool management or supervision.
• Ability to remain calm and effective in emergencies.
• FResher's with good communication also applicable.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: ₹15,000.00 - ₹18,000.00 per month
