Position Overview The Senior Manager – Finance & Accounts will be responsible for overseeing financial management, project accounting, statutory compliance, and strategic support for the real estate business. The role requires deep expertise in real estate finance, regulatory frameworks, and project cash flow management. Key Responsibilities 1. Financial Planning & Analysis Prepare project-wise budgets, forecasts, and cash flow projections. Track revenue recognition as per RERA and Ind AS guidelines. Monitor financial performance of projects and prepare variance analysis reports. Provide financial insights for land acquisition, project feasibility, and investment decisions. 2. Project Accounting & Reporting Manage end-to-end accounting operations including project cost control, revenue booking, and customer collections. Ensure timely preparation of financial statements and MIS reports. Oversee reconciliation of project accounts, vendor bills, and customer ledgers. Implement cost monitoring systems to optimize project profitability. 3. Compliance & Audit Ensure compliance with RERA, GST, Income Tax, TDS, Companies Act, and other regulatory requirements. Liaise with statutory and internal auditors for timely closure of audits. Maintain strong internal controls across all financial transactions. 4. Treasury & Fund Management Manage project financing, loan drawdowns, repayments, and compliance with lending covenants. Liaise with banks, NBFCs, and financial institutions for fund raising. Monitor cash flows to ensure adequate liquidity for ongoing and upcoming projects. Optimize working capital by managing receivables and payables effectively. 5. Business Support & Strategy Partner with business development and project teams for financial evaluation of new projects. Conduct cost-benefit analysis for construction, procurement, and vendor contracts. Support management in joint ventures, partnerships, and investor reporting. 6. Team Leadership & Development Lead and mentor the finance & accounts team. Drive best practices in project accounting and financial reporting. Build capability in ERP and financial systems for greater transparency and accuracy. Qualifications & Experience Chartered Accountant (CA). 8–14 years of relevant experience, preferably with leading real estate developers. Strong knowledge of RERA, Ind AS (115 – Revenue Recognition), GST, and real estate taxation. Experience in project finance, customer collections, and ERP systems (SAP/Tally).
