Responsibilities Design and optimize column internals to improve mass transfer and separation processes. Conduct process simulations and calculations for distillation, absorption, and stripping applications. Work with mechanical and production teams to ensure the design feasibility and manufacturing compatibility of internals. Perform hydraulic and efficiency calculations to recommend suitable internals for specific process requirements. Collaborate with sales and marketing teams to provide technical support and customer consultations. Evaluate and troubleshoot operational issues in installed column internals to enhance performance. Prepare technical reports, datasheets, and proposals for clients. Keep up-to-date with advancements in mass transfer technology and process engineering best practices Qualifications The candidates should be graduate in Chemical Engineering from a recognized university and 2-5 years of process design experience. 2-5 years of experience in process design, mass transfer, or column internals manufacturing. Proficiency in process simulation tools such as Aspen Plus, HYSYS, or ChemCAD. Strong understanding of distillation, absorption, extraction, and phase separation principles. Knowledge of fluid mechanics, heat & mass transfer, thermodynamics and pressure drop calculations. Experience with technical drawings and CAD software (AutoCAD, SolidWorks) is a plus.
