Job Purpose The Chief Technology Officer (CTO) will be a visionary leader responsible for defining and executing the company's technology strategy and roadmap, ensuring it aligns with our business objectives and supports our rapid growth. This role requires a blend of deep technical expertise and strong business acumen to build and manage a robust, scalable, and secure technology platform that enhances resident experience and operational efficiency. Key Responsibilities Technology Strategy & Vision Develop and articulate a clear, long-term technology vision and strategy that directly supports the company's mission and business goals. Identify and evaluate emerging technologies relevant to senior living (e.g., IoT for health monitoring, AI for personalized services, advanced property management systems) and assess their potential impact and strategic advantage. Craft and manage a technology roadmap, prioritizing initiatives to balance innovation, scalability, and cost-effectiveness. Product Development & Architecture Oversee the design, development, and deployment of all customer-facing and internal technology products (e.g., resident engagement apps, booking platforms, operational management software). Make critical architectural decisions, ensuring the technology stack is robust, scalable, secure, and flexible to meet evolving needs. Implement and enforce best practices in software development, quality assurance (QA), and DevOps methodologies (e.g., Agile, Scrum, CI/CD). Team Building & Leadership Build, lead, and mentor a high-performing internal engineering and IT team. Foster a culture of innovation, continuous learning, collaboration, and accountability within the tech department. Define roles, recruit top technical talent, and manage performance to ensure the team is motivated and aligned with company values. Operational Management & Security Manage technology operations, including network infrastructure and data management. Ensure data privacy and security compliance with relevant regulations. Develop disaster recovery and business continuity plans. Stakeholder Collaboration & Business Acumen Align technology initiatives with business objectives through collaboration with executives. Communicate technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders. Manage the technology budget and vendor relationships. Required Skills & Qualifications Bachelor's or Master's degree in a relevant technical field. 5+ years in a senior technology leadership role, preferably in a startup. Expertise in software development, cloud computing, and systems architecture. Experience leading digital transformation and managing projects. Strong strategic thinking and leadership skills. Understanding of the senior care or hospitality industry is a plus. Preferred Qualifications Relevant industry certifications. Experience with AI/ML technologies. Adopt to Web3 Technologies.
