SW Embedded Linux Android Engineer

As a Software Engineer at Qualcomm India Private Limited, you will be responsible for designing, developing, modifying, and validating embedded and cloud edge software for cutting-edge products. You will collaborate with various teams to design system-level software solutions that meet customer needs and performance requirements. - Work as part of a multi-skilled IOT platform team on different Linux-based operating systems - Develop features for Android and Linux/Ubuntu based Snapdragon products - Contribute to end-to-end software execution of Qualcomm SoC based IOT products - Ensure timely delivery of product deliverables with competitive functionality, stability, and performance - Collaborate closely with geographically distributed core and execution teams - Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Information Systems, Computer Science, or a related field - 3-6 years of strong development experience with C/C++ and good programming skills - Hands-on experience with Android and/or Ubuntu, and understanding of Linux concepts like systemd, SELinux, Snaps, Sandboxing, Container, Docker, etc. - Good understanding of Linux kernel and internals, SOC systems, and related concepts - Knowledge of Multimedia subsystems such as Camera, Video, Audio, Display, and Graphics - Experience with troubleshooting software and system issues - Proficiency in the full software development life cycle including design, implementation, deployment, and support - Aptitude for quick learning, self-motivation, and willingness to explore various technology areas - Strong deductive problem-solving skills and excellent verbal and written communication for collaboration across teams,
