Job Description for Manager-Credit for Svakarma Finance Pvt. Ltd., an NBFC The candidate should be a self-starter who has worked in the Credit department of any bank / NBFC and has a flair for evaluating and analyzing financials, preparing a Credit Assessment Memorandum. The candidate will play a critical role in the Credit Assessment of a Business Loan case to assess its credit worthiness, analyse all risks and suggest solutions to mitigate the risks. The candidate will be responsible for: 1. Credit appraisal of Loan applications which are in compliance with the broad credit policy laid down by the management 2. Personal Discussions with the client as applicable. 3. Responsible for Under writing cases with desired level of quality. 4. Evaluating clients credit data and financial statements in order to determine the degree of risk involved in lending money to them. 5. Use performance history along with liquidity, debt/asset management and profitability to assess creditworthiness in evaluation 6. Evaluating financial statements and projections with stress tests to determine risks of extending credit to prospects. 7. Responsible for doing all the credit checks such as CIBIL, Highmark etc 8. Coordinate with Sales, Operations and Legal 9. Prepare Credit assessment Memo covering detailed analysis of business, industry, management, financials, etc. 10. Ensuring compliance of terms and conditions of sanctions by liasioning with the RMs and company involved. 11. Analyzing client records and using the data to recommend payment plans. 12. Conducting physical discussion with the clients alongwith business manager. 13. Reverting to the sanctioning committee if any queries are raised. 14. Post disbursement monitoring & collections process coordination. Requirement: • Finance Professional • Experience: o Relevant experience of 4-8 years o Preferable-Experience in Business loan (preferred manufacturing -Engineering segment). o Knowledge about Working capital facilities, Invoice discounting, term loan, machinery loan, etc. o LOS/LMS software experience is preferred Competencies • Quality conscious with an eye for detail meticulous / following guidelines in work practices
