S&V Industries is a USA-based company and pioneer in Global Supply Chain Management (SCM). For more details, refer to the company portal. This position is based out of Coimbatore, India. The selected candidate needs to travel throughout India as required. Travel to suppliers would likely be 20-40% of the time and will fluctuate based on project demands. There is no set schedule for travel, rather visit suppliers when there is an urgency to sit with them face-to-face Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned. Create and maintain project schedules, including task assignments and timelines. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop project plans and objectives. Facilitate communication and collaboration among team members, including product managers, engineers, designers, and other stakeholders. Ensure that team members are aware of their responsibilities and deadlines. Assist in resource allocation and tracking, ensuring that the project has the necessary resources to meet its goals. Monitor and manage project budgets and expenses. Identify and assess project risks and develop mitigation strategies. Address issues and roadblocks as they arise to keep the project on track. Maintain accurate project documentation, including meeting minutes, status reports, and project plans. Provide regular updates to senior management and stakeholders on project progress. Ensure that project deliverables meet quality standards and adhere to product specifications. Conduct quality assurance checks and implement necessary improvements. Stay informed about industry regulations and standards relevant to product development. Ensure that products are developed in compliance with all applicable regulations. Identify opportunities for process improvement and best practices in new product development. Implement changes to enhance project efficiency and effectiveness. Manages on-time delivery and mitigates excess inventory. Facilitates customer onboarding and VMI agreements at the direction of the New Parts Development Manager. Follows all procedures in relation to the NPD process.

Role & responsibilities Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned. Analyze and coordinate global supply chain activities for clients Manage customer requirements firm orders and forecasted demand Coordinate and support conference calls and meetings to drive customer satisfaction Manage global suppliers to ensure orders are processed timely and support S&Vs inventory objectives Work in our ERP system Microsoft Business Central Load customer requirements POs and forecasts Plan material/place purchase orders with suppliers/expedite orders where necessary Create shipping documentation and work with warehouse services to ensure timely delivery to customers Analyze inventory and safety stock levels Contribute ideas and implement actions that support a culture of continuous improvement Communicate clearly and effectively to all stakeholders customers, suppliers, colleagues, service providers Consol point loading Posting Supplier OOR management/update MRP activities Preparing shipments Preferred candidate profile At least 2-3 years experience in some manner of any of the following - manufacturing/logistics business functions with responsibilities in customer service/purchasing/scheduling/customs or other related area.
