We are seeking an experienced Mechanical Engineer with expertise in Production, Planning (PPC), and Quality Control to join our team. The ideal candidate should have strong technical knowledge in sheet metal production, fabrication, and component manufacturing , preferably within the Railways, Automotive, and Engineering sectors . The role involves production planning based on forecasts, inventory management, process improvement, and Kaizen implementation to ensure efficiency, quality, and timely delivery. Key Responsibilities: Develop and execute production planning (PPC) strategies aligned with business forecasts. Oversee sheet metal production and fabrication processes , ensuring adherence to quality and safety standards. Manage inventory levels , optimize material usage, and reduce wastage. Drive Kaizen and continuous improvement initiatives to enhance productivity and efficiency. Prepare and monitor daily/weekly/monthly production schedules. Utilize MS Excel, MS Office, and AutoCAD for data analysis, reporting, and design support. Collaborate with cross-functional teams (Quality, Supply Chain, and Engineering) to resolve issues. Conduct quality control checks to ensure compliance with customer and industry standards. Monitor machine utilization, manpower planning, and overall production efficiency. Key Skills & Competencies: Strong knowledge of Production Planning & Control (PPC) Proficiency in MS Excel, MS Office & AutoCAD Experience in Sheet Metal Production & Fabrication Knowledge of Kaizen, Lean Manufacturing, and Continuous Improvement practices Expertise in Quality Control & Assurance Strong understanding of Railways, Automotive, and Engineering Sector requirements Excellent problem-solving, analytical, and communication skills
