ROLE OVERVIEW: Sutherland has an immediate opening for a corporate in-house attorney with significant experience in IT-enabled services. The Commercial Contracts Attorney will work directly with business teams and customers to draft and negotiate commercial contracts, prepare contract abstracts, follow up with business stakeholders, and manage end to end commercial contract negotiations. The attorney will be responsible for contract negotiations with a primary focus on Sutherlands existing Travel and Digital Business Services. This position reports to Sutherland’s VP, Commercial Contracts Counsel in North America and can be based out of Mumbai, Chennai, Hyderabad, Cochin & Bangalore, India. Domestic and international travel may be required on occasion. QUALIFICATIONS: 15 years of experience in an in-house legal department, preferably in IT enabled services.
