Sustainable Investment Data Scientist

As a Data Scientist at LSEG, you will be responsible for applying statistical techniques and Python-based workflows to monitor and validate large-scale datasets. Your role will involve conducting exploratory data analysis on new Sustainable Investment datasets to detect anomalies and assess operational risks. You will also review vendor data methodologies and compare them with internal analytical findings. Defining outlier logic and quality control thresholds for new sustainable data pipelines will be a key part of your responsibilities. Additionally, prototyping and operationalizing new data quality checks, as well as extracting insights from unstructured data using NLP & LLM tools, will be crucial tasks. Your role will also involve performing ad hoc analysis to support client queries, methodology discussions, and process improvements, while collaborating with cross-functional teams to enhance data pipelines and operational efficiency.
