Role & responsibilities

• Understanding the design requirements and preparing the design brief.
• Heat load calculation based on architectural drawings.
• Ability to research, design, draft specifications of equipment related to Radiant Cooling & Heating, Solar Thermal Projects.
• Ability to calculate the pump head and flow rate required for all HVAC applications.
• Ability to size the chiller, AHU&aposs and HVAC equipment.
• Able to assist the senior staff in the following: Prepare documents such as Process Flow Diagrams, P&ID&aposs, equipment sizing, flow and pressure drop calculations, specifications and data sheets, line and valve sizing, material selection, process operation description, heat and mass balance calculations during basic design phase of projects.
• Be able to calculate the Bill of material from shop drawings.
• Should be well versed in thermodynamic calculations.
• Ability to create shop drawings for the site execution team and also completion of as built drawings.
• Must possess the ability to do the work with minimal guidance from other senior staff.
• Should assist the sales team in presales design.
• Maintaining effective communications.

Preferred candidate profile M. Tech or B. Tech in Mechanical Engineer or Energy or equivalent
