Sustainability Analyst/Coordinator

As a Sustainability Analyst/Coordinator at Tricon's Mumbai Office, you will be a key player in upholding the company's dedication to social and environmental responsibility. Your role will involve overseeing various sustainability programs and initiatives, focusing on social investment programs, responsible sourcing, sustainability compliance and regulations, and sustainability data collection and reporting, both globally and in India. In the realm of social investment programs, you will aid in Tricon's efforts towards zero waste, zero emissions, and zero inequality by supporting the social investment strategy, monitoring and implementing CSR initiatives in India, collaborating with community organizations, evaluating the impact of social investment programs, and organizing employee engagement activities. For responsible sourcing, your responsibilities will include driving Tricon's responsible sourcing program globally, coordinating supplier assessments, managing data and reporting, collaborating on human rights and environmental due diligence efforts, and evaluating supplier performance. You will also stay informed about sustainability regulations and standards, ensure company-wide compliance, assist with audits and assessments, collect sustainability data for reporting, maintain data accuracy, contribute to product carbon footprint calculations, and participate in external collaborations focused on value chain sustainability efforts in India. To qualify for this role, you should have an undergraduate degree in anthropology, environmental studies, development economics, political science, international studies, or a related field, with a preference for a master's degree in international development or sustainability. Demonstrated experience in sustainability, partnership and program development, and a strong dedication to environmental and social impact are essential. Key sustainability knowledge and skills required include familiarity with India CSR requirements, knowledge of sustainability standards and frameworks, working knowledge of GHG Protocol, product carbon footprint standards, and human rights frameworks. Additionally, you should possess cross-functional and cross-cultural collaboration abilities, strategic thinking, analytical skills, problem-solving capabilities, and excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills, along with proficiency in Microsoft PowerPoint, Word, and Excel.,
