In This Role, You Will You will be hands-on reconciling and performing daily operational tasks. You will be responsible for helping the day-to-day running of the trading desks for Susquehanna which will entail position reconciliations, ensuring trades are captured in an efficient and timely manner, and ensuring positions are accurate and reconciled to external brokers. You will also provide profit and loss estimates for the day’s activity. The role requires an understanding of financial instruments especially equities, futures and equity derivatives, as the successful candidate will be working with experienced traders in the financial sector. Knowing how to work directly with traders and having good working relationships is essential. What You'll Do Compile/reconcile trades, transactions and positions. Prepare and submit delivery instructions for proprietary trading. Assist with managing trading positions, margins, trades, corporate actions, P&L and treasury management. Offer investment analysis and market commentary to our trading desks. Keep abreast of exchange/SEBI guidelines in relation to broking, clearing, trading, and risk management. Maintaining and managing operational processes as per regulatory framework to ensure exchange ad regulatory compliance. Use of algorithmic trading tools under instruction from traders. Update and manage all exchange trading systems, proprietary trading applications, and excel spreadsheets. Act as the key liaison between desk traders and clearers, brokers, exchanges and all internal departments. Take ownership of desk projects and initiatives. In conjunction with compliance manage any regulatory enquiries and audit requests. Investment knowledge of Asian Financial markets, specifically India. Thorough knowledge of equity and equity derivative products. Worked with Bloomberg and proficient in Excel. Ability to build strong and positive relationships both internally and with broker contacts. Ability to promote new ideas and solutions. Confidence to escalate analysis and be proactive to drive changes. Works well with a team and can build strong relationships with team members.
