Job Description

Roles and Responsibilities.

Prepare survey execution plans, finalize road/asset lists, and validate alignment, chainage, and route maps before deployment.
Allocate survey zones, daily targets, and equipment to field teams (surveyors, drone teams, 360 camera teams).
Ensure all survey operations follow approved SOPs, quality parameters, and safety protocols.
Coordinate with Technical Coordinators and Field Surveyors to confirm readiness of equipment, vehicles, GPS devices, batteries, and storage media.
Lead and supervise all survey teams during baseline or periodic survey cycles.
Conduct pre-survey briefing, safety instructions, and daily progress review meetings.
Provide on-ground troubleshooting support for issues related to devices, GPS drift, imagery quality, or access challenges.
Monitor adherence to timelines, ensuring daily/weekly progress meets targets and no road sections remain uncovered.
Ensure accurate and complete data capture through 360 cameras, vehicle-mounted systems, handheld GPS units, or drones (as applicable).
Oversee compliance with flight plans, data capture intervals, and geo-tagging requirements, ensuring consistent quality across teams.
Validate sample outputs dailyimage clarity, metadata accuracy, chainage correctness, and route integrity.
Review and authenticate collected datasets before transfer to the GIS or processing teams.
Maintain compliance with equipment operational standards and regulatory norms (DGCA for drones, if used).
